Your Questions, answered
Your homeowners insurance is hazard insurance. It covers items damaged in catastrophic events such as a pipe leak, fire, flood, wind and/or natural disasters. A home warranty covers repairs on properly maintained household appliances and systems that are covered in your chosen plan. For example a home warranty would repair a leak in the roof but your homeowners insurance would cover the damage caused by that leak.
Yes, you do BUT we have a reduced rate inspection that will meet the requirements to have us cover the items for the plan that you want.
Coverage begins the day the policy is paid for and expires either one year or two years later that date depending on the warranty term that you purchased.
No matter the age, if your appliances are in good working condition at the time of inspection they will be covered. If they are reported not to work during the inspection then they will need to be repaired to working condition before we can cover them under the warranty.
Our phones, email and support systems are monitored 7 days a week. You can reach out through phone or email or file a claim on the website and we will reach out to you as quickly as possible. If you have an urgent issue you may also call the Titan office and a person will answer from 8 am-8 pm 7 days a week.
You can call or text the warranty office 7 days a week from 7 am-8 pm or you can file a claim on our website 7 days a week 24 hrs a day.
Yes, you are required to pay a $125.00 service fee per claim and that’s it. This fee covers the travel cost of the service provider. This fee is per item unless the same service provider can address multiple claims in one service call.
If a covered item that needs to be replaced is not available or you want to choose a different unit all together, we will give you the max payout for that item. An example would be if your dishwasher stopped working and we could not repair it you could select a comparable unit or an upgraded unit and we would give you a max of $650 towards that cost.
Only items/systems that are marked in good working condition on your home inspection will be covered. If there are any issues with your items/systems at the time of inspection, they will need to be fixed on your own with proof of repair for the item/system to be covered. (BUT we are always here to help! We have hundreds of providers in our data base and can help you find the right provider for you at a fair price!)

What do I know about home inspections? Absolutely nothing. Now that I’ve had one what do I know? Still not a lot. But, I can tell you that the guy that came and did it was super friendly, on time and thorough. He gave me some tips for maintenance as a new homeowner and wrote some very helpful notes that made the process seamless. I highly recommend them. (Helps that they were also the most affordable option I found)
It was a positive experience from the start. It was easy to schedule, pay and communication was good prior to actual inspection. They were on time and thorough during the inspection. The results came back sooner than expected. Not only did I receive information on what they found that needed attention, they also provided information on what I should do to maintain. The inspector was very thorough with his analysis and got there on time and started his inspection without me. This was the first time I've used Titan Inspections. The home was new construction and fairly expensive, so my expectations were pretty high. We were buying and selling a home at the same time and worked with Titan on both ends of the deal. They were super easy to schedule, prompt, and thorough. They provided a detailed report very quickly after we met that included pictures to make it clear what things needed to be addressed. In the case of the pre-inspection we asked them to complete on the property we were selling, they gave us the chance to update some of the issues that needed to be addressed and included those improvements in the final version of the report. They work directly with the realtors, too, to facilitate the information getting to where it needed to go. Great experience all the way around.

Our report was very detailed and hit on every little thing that the average person never would have thought to check. We were able to get the seller to take 5k off the price to allow us to fix the couple issues needing to be addressed immediately, and have our report to reference as an ongoing to-do list for the rest of the repairs over time. One of the best things is for every issue, they will tell you whether you need to hire a professional or if it can be DIY. They also give you great info on how much some things might cost so you don't get screwed over. Overall wonderful service and well worth the money!

They did a great job inspecting the new house we just bought which is a new build. The inspector found a few things that I was grateful to have fixed before we close. I even brought my dad to the inspection and he was impressed answering all my dad’s questions! The report of the house was very thorough with pictures/recommendations with even small things to maintain so we don’t run into issues with the house years down the road. They also did a septic scope to make sure everything was installed correctly and they sent me a YouTube video of it!

We were very impressed with the thorough inspection we received from Titan, specifically with Jens! As he started the inspection of our attic, he noticed the plastic cover on the tape sealing the attic access was not ever removed by our roofers (9 years ago), thus letting humidity from house into the attic. He fixed that on the spot. We were specifically wanting an unbiased opinion on whether there was a mold problem (as reported by an attic insulation company). He did find some mold, but did not feel it was as extensive as previously reported. He gave us great advice as how to proceed, which will save us much money from the original attic company. Jens was knowledgable, considerate, and honest. I definitely recommend using a home inspection company before any major repair work, and Titan/Jens proved to be all that!

This is not my first, or even my fifth, home purchase and I have never had a better inspection service than I have with Titan. Jens Stolsig was wonderful, he walked me through everything he was doing, explained how things worked and what he was seeing. I was especially concerned about he appliances since they are older, and he spent even more time addressing my concerns and offering possible solutions (this will need a handyman while this other thing is going to need a licensed professional).

Five stars for inspector Ben. He was great, no complaints. One* star for Titan Inspection Services. Their website stated that the price of our inspection would be $520 based on the size of the house. I called to confirm that there would be no additional fees, such as for the location of the house. I told them where the house is located. The person I spoke to confirmed that there are no fees for where the house is located. I received and signed the contract for $520. I then got a phone call from Titan informing me that--due to the location of the house--there would be a $100 fee and my already-signed contract would be updated to $620. This fee was to cover the cost of a ferry ticket ($30). So even if you take out the price of a ferry ticket, it's still a $70 fee for the location of the house after being assured there would be no fees. Overall one star because no one reads 2- or 3-star reviews and that is bad business practice.

He even suggested best ways to fix some of these minor issues found during home inspection. At the end he wrote a very detailed report highlighting each recommendation. Absolutely wonderful experience. Not only are these people professional and absolutely wonderful at what they do, they’re kind and made this stressful, nasty sewer cleaning a breeze. I wasn’t able to make it to the appointment but my real estate broker went on my behalf and I heard nothing but good things about the job. Due to the property being neglected for so long from COVID-19 and squatters we’ve been unable to take good care of this property, and this company did an outstanding job on cleaning out the sewer even though it was an extremely messy and smelly job. Titan and Jordan himself are so easy to work with. They understand how fast paced the real estate market can be and make it easy to make and cancel appointments 7 days a week. They educate the clients and have an understanding about what is a major issue and what is maintenance and normal, especially in older homes. They are happy to educate the clients.

Titan had an extremely complete website that sold me on their service. They were easy to communicate with and even though I was outside their normal service area they were able to provide an inspection (additional cost, but reasonable).

Scheduled an inspection with the Titan Group. Their team was quick to reach out and verify the appointment. The entire process including the reporting could be managed with an online account. Antoine was assigned to assist (he is a great inspector). He came and made a very thorough check of an older house. He checked the house top to bottom, including the additional list of items I had. He is personable and very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and clearly explained potential causes for issues with the house. He had the report ready within a day of the inspection. The sewer inspection portion could not be completed due to the problems with the plumbing. I was refunded for that. Overall, this was a stressless experience. You can't go wrong with the help of a Titan inspector.

We just bought our first house and when we googled home inspectors, Titan was the first company that popped up with 5/5 stars with thousands of reviews. When we checked the prices, they seemed reasonable so we thought there had to be a catch- it just seemed too obvious to go with Titan. Titan did an inspection in July. His report was very thorough, I appreciate the detailed description of each and every issue. He also provided links to videos where the home owner can fix some of the issues, but also indicated where you should have a professional perform the tasks. The report arrived the following morning which was so helpful in planning and making decision on whether to purchase or not. In addition to all this, he was so informational while on site, really took time to explain that some things should be done asap whereas others can wait for a bit longer, which provided me with relief, so that you knew what's what and plan.

In June 2023, I had Tristan from the Maple Valley WA office inspect two homes. I did not end up going through with the purchase on the first home due to Tristan’s findings, which were thorough, informative, and well-communicated. Because of this experience, I requested Tristan again a few weeks later when I was considering another home. Again, he was exceptional and I ended up buying that home feeling comfortable that I was coming into the transaction with an abundance of knowledge about the property. Tristan is fantastic!

Our realtor recommended Titan because we wanted to get an inspection and sewer scope done at the same time. Incredibly quick to schedule and come out (even did the inspection on the 4th of July scheduled 2 days before). We had Shawn come to the house. He arrived when he said he would and didn't hesitate at all to explain everything he was looking at, and answered every question we had. He was incredibly helpful to us as first time home buyers getting into a house that needs work. 10/10 would recommended to anyone.

I was looking to buy my first condo, and I was recommended Titan Inspection services. I had Alyson for the inspection and both her and the whole team at Titan were amazing. Bought a new home, realized last minute (2 days before closing) that we didn't have the house inspected. Our builder is in the process of building our new house for us and we wanted to make sure things were good while it was easy to correct before the drywall goes up. We chose Titan Inspection Services because we liked what they said on their website. Great communication from the start. Jens was the inspector that we were matched with. He is awesome, friendly, and very helpful. He pointed out items that we didn't see and brought up some things to be mindful of.
